REPORTS TO:

· Project Manager or Senior Project Manager

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Software Coding Development, Testing, Implementation

• Write software application code that meets customer, company, and project standards.
• Understand how to interpret and write design specifications.
• Understand how to read design specification and timeline estimates and translate into software code.
• Test and document all changes or modifications to software code.
• Understand or learn how to integrate 3^rd party software seamlessly or equivalent software:
• RFID data collections systems
• MHE Control systems for automation and material handling
• ERP, Host, or Order Management systems

· Test and document procedures as developed for the implementation

· Provide on-site go live assistance and/or support to the project team as directed by the team leader

· Learn the customers’ business for the implementation at hand. Use the functional and operational expertise gained for future implementation projects

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

1) Competencies: Skills, knowledge, & abilities
Functional Competencies:

· Expertise and experience in OO design and programming with Java and SQL.

· Expertise and experience in BS/CS application development with J2EE.

· Familiarity with XML and Web services preferred

· Familiarity with C#.Net programming

· Familiarity with windows or UNIX operating systems

· Experience with at least one source control system; experience with SVN preferred

· Experience with SQL programming language for relational databases.

Interpersonal Competencies:

· Good communication skills

· Work well in a team environment or individually, with a positive attitude

· Interact well with technical teams, business owners and project managers

Leadership Competencies:

· Follow direction and keep peers and manager informed of progress, changes and issues

· Prioritize own activities so that all tasks are completed in a timely manner

· Accountable for individual work and team work

· Excellent skills in problem solving. The consultant shall be able to well describe problems, designs and ideas.

2) Experience:

· At least 2-5 years’ experience with 3GL and 4GL programming languages, relational databases, client server GUI, web tools, or equivalent course work.

· Experience in supply chain and warehouse management software / solution companies is a big plus.

3)education level:

· MS/BS in Computer Science or equivalent

· Previous intern work with references preferred
