REPORTS TO:

· Project Manager or Senior Project Manager

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Provide advance troubleshooting and technical support

· Provide assistance to the team in designing and implementing complex solutions

· Assist projects in need of complex very skilled coding solutions

· Software Design, Coding Specifications, and Coding

• Meet with customer to understand their business needs to produce documentation on how their requirements will be met.
• Review documentation and requirements with customers and gain sign-off to move the project to future phases or sprints.
• Assume primary responsibility for the solution including but not limited to the design, coding and testing of one or more functional areas used by the customer implementation.
• Assume the primary customer support / contact role for the solution being implements.
• Assumes task assignment, task management, and delegation authority.

· Assist project team members

• Assist Solution Architect in defining functional analysis, gaps, business scenarios, warehouse metrics, volumes, programing techniques, and other needs pertaining to the software being implements.
• Assist with the implementation to other software packages where necessary.
• Assist with the upgrade of sites which are up and running.
• Assist other team members in the design, coding, testing, and documentation of the implementation.

· Provide Installation and Support of the solution

· Provide local/on-site training

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

1) Competencies: Skills, knowledge, & abilities

Functional Competencies:

· Expertise and experience in OO design and programming with Java.

· Expertise and experience in BS/CS application development with J2EE.

· Familiarity with XML and Web services preferred

· Familiarity with C#.Net programming

· Familiarity with windows or UNIX operating systems

· Experience with at least one source control system; experience with SVN preferred

· Experience with SQL programming language for relational databases.

Interpersonal Competencies:

· Good communication skills

· Work well in a team environment or individually, with a positive attitude

· Interact well with technical teams, business owners and project managers

Leadership Competencies:

· Follow direction and keep peers and manager informed of progress, changes and issues

· Prioritize own activities so that all tasks are completed in a timely manner

· Accountable for individual work and team work

· Excellent skills in problem solving. The master consultant shall be able to well describe problems, designs and ideas.

2) Experience:

· Minimum 5-7 years of experience with warehouse management systems or equivalent software solutions and life cycle from an implementation perspective.

· At least 5-7 years’ experience with 3GL and 4GL programming languages, relational databases, client server GUI, and web tools.

· Experience in supply chain and warehouse management software / solution companies is a big plus.

3) Minimum education level:

· MS/BS in Computer Science or equivalent
