GENERAL SUMMARY:

Develops software for small and medium complex systems with guidance from the senior engineers;
Applies programming tools, procedures, functions and routines to deliver the assigned activity or task - under limited guidance.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Job Description
1. Software Design and Development - 70%
- Be responsible for development of iOS applications, including analysis, design, implementation, unit testing and documentation
- Interact successfully with business owners, project managers and other technical teams
- Contribute to company's engineering standards and best practices

2. Ongoing Maintenance-30%
- Participate in application tuning
- Provide production support
- Be able to identify, fix and follow through deployment of critical issues

Position Requirements
Functional Competencies:
- Experience in OOA, OOD and OOP with Objective-c
- Experience in Database development
- Experience in Socket, TCP/IP, technology
- Experience in XML, SOAP and Web services
- Knowledge in Design Patterns
- Experience in UML
- Experience in Unit Testing
- Experience in at least one source control system (CVS/SVN/GIT)
- Experience in Xcode and Mac OS
- Experience in Software Development Process and Methodology such as RUP and Agile

Interpersonal Competencies:
- Good communication skills
- Work well in a team environment or individually, with a positive attitude
- Interact well with technical teams, business owners and project managers

Experience Level:
- 2+ years of experience in Software development including analysis, design, implementation, testing and support
- 1+ years of industrial experience in iOS development

Educational Level:
- MS/BS in Computer Science or equivalent
