As an Applications Engineer at Micron Technology, Inc., you will work closely with marketing, field applications engineering, and internal engineering teams. You will provide product expertise to the Micron field team for customer design-in and debug support of Micron DRAM products, and coordinate problem resolution in the factory if necessary. You will collaborate with the marketing team to develop, deliver, and maintain technical training for sales, field applications engineers, and customers.

In this role your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

? Provide prompt technical support on any customer opportunities or issues raised by the FAE, Sales, or ESG teams
? Develop a detailed and steadily increasing knowledge of product
? Know and communicate feature differences between all product families and product densities
? Provide design-win and design-in support to BDM’s/FAE’s/customers as needed
? Provide failure analysis debug support for BDM’s/FAE’s/customers in your region
? Contribute to product collateral review of all products (datasheet/errata/etc.)
? Provide training and guidance as needed on ESG products and roadmap strategies to the FAE team in support of generating new business
? If needed, write and publish geo-specific application notes or other required technical communications using approved tools and templates

Qualifications
Successful candidates for this position will have:
? A minimum of five years of design, product, test, support, system, or applications engineering experience with DRAM products.
? Demonstrated problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
? Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
? The ability to be highly organized, self-motivated, and disciplined.
? The ability to work with other engineers across multiple disciplines, as well as customers of various positions.
? The ability to develop and evaluate customer use models to translate customer use into device specifications. (Preferred)
? Knowledge of ASIC architecture, design, development, simulation, and/or verification. (Preferred)
Education:
BSEE or equivalent.
