职位描述
POSITION PURPOSE:
To effectively support Siemon sales and customers in AP with technical and commercial expertise relating to Data Centre solutions to better position the Company’s value added products and services for specification and ongoing generation of business opportunities.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
? Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, telecommunication or related discipline
? Solid knowledge in low voltage data center infrastructure products including cabinets, power and cooling systems
? Strong knowledge of Data Center switching, computing and storage applications and topologies
? Significant experience in a technical role supporting Data Centre Solutions
? Proven leadership ability in a collaborative team environment
? Strong understanding of leading competitor strengths and weaknesses combined with the ability to develop custom designs and BOMs to achieve a competitive advantage
? Strong analytical skills applied to the performance of the sales territory
? Demonstrated ability to set priorities and complete assignments, coupled with strong organizational skills
? Good written, presentation and verbal communication skills in English
? Intermediate level PC skills including MS Office (Excel, Word, Project, PowerPoint Visio, AutoCAD and RevIT)
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Product Leadership
1. Develop long-term growth strategies for Siemon DC Solutions. Research market / technology trends, industry standards development, competitor evaluations, and identify gaps.
2. Develop detailed marketing specifications and price positioning strategies for DC related product families to maintain a competitive position based on current products and trends.
3. Close collaboration with corporate product managers and product leadership teams in EMEA, North America and Latin America to help develop global best practices and the most effective tools to support sales of DC product families.
4. Collaboration with procurement team to manage/communicate with suppliers when needed
Sales Support
5. Working with AP sales team to position Siemon value-added products and drive the sales of Siemon DC solutions.
6. Provision of ongoing training to the sales team and channel partners on Siemon's ecosystem of DC products and services and supporting them in specific opportunities.
7. Supporting sales and channel partners on preparation and submission of designs, BOMs, proposals, tenders, RFIs, etc., coordinating assistance as required.
8. Support sales developing relationships with target DC Complementary Manufacturers.
Technical Support
9. Provision of technical consultation relating to DC opportunities in support of AP sales force to Certified Installers (CI), Consultants, End Users, Distributors, System Integrators etc.
10. Delivery of trainings to local channel partners and end-users and Siemon staffs when required.
11. Technical and commercial support for opportunities to position DC solutions working with front line sales through end user meetings, technical presentations, conferences and trade shows when required across AP.
12. Provision of post-sales support where appropriate.
Marketing Support
13. Support sustained growth of the data center product family and launch new products working with the marketing team, sales management and product management to help create and update the core content for DC product brochures, presentations, white papers, product updates, field bulletins, company catalogs, company web site and other sales support tools.
14. Monitor industry trends and competitive activities through publications, internet research, trade shows and meetings with sales representatives, business allies and customers and assist the Management to incorporate this information into strategic business plans and marketing product specifications.
15. Support and lead presentations at marketing events including ETFs, Lunch and Learns and Webinars.

16. Provide timely and regular status reporting.
17. Willingness to undertake any other tasks as reasonably required by the business.
18. Travel as needed within the region.
