Main Purpose of the Job:
The successful employees should be responsible for support the ALPLA TC and production plants on mold related matters during development and ongoing production. Technical key contact for ALPLA mold suppliers related to mold standards. Implement new molds and to be ensuring all equipments are manufacturing according Alpla standard.

Main Responsibilities:

? Mold inspection and maintenance
o Need to understand all mold part standards
o Inspection of molds and accessories for compliance to ALPLA mold stand
o Clean and accurate modification on mold and mold parts
o Operate milling; lathe; drilling; sand blast and grinding machine perfectly
? Cooperate regular with the Packaging Manager and make relative record
o Assist the packaging manager with modification on molds
o Bring technical feedback into problem solving situation
o Trace mold order and make mold inspections at the mold maker
? Provide input and improvement on mold designing from pilot to production mold
? Support knowledge transfer into the region and feedback to Corporate Mold Specialist
? Mold trouble shooting during pilot and production samplings
? Training new employee about Alpla mold standard
o Train new employees for the mold shop environment
o Make specific mold maintenance and mold modification trainings
o Present the Alpla Academy as a strong leader and trainer

Education/Experience:

? High school or above majoring in automation and mechanics or equivalent experience in related field
? Minimum 3-5 years of manufacturing environment with similar experience
? Knowledge of plastics processing
? Experience in new equipment installation and adjustment is a plus


Qualifications/Skills:

? Able to communicate in English (verbal, writing, reading)
? Basic skills in MS Office
? Good communication, interpersonal skills
? Strong mechanical ability
? Problem solver
? Active in Mold improvement
? Excellent skills in operating conventional tooling machines (lathe, milling ,grinding and drilling machine)
? Strong sense of safety
? Willingness to travel and intercultural competence
