Job description
HEMA Far East Ltd is the Asian buying office for HEMA b.v. department stores. HEMA is an international retailer with almost 700 stores in 7 European countries, selling textile, fashion, hardgood and food products all under private HEMA label. HEMA is also a BSCI member.
HEMA Far East Ltd is looking for:
A Social Compliance CSR auditor with significant experience in Social Compliance audits and related standard such as BSCI/SEDE/ICS etc., for our regional buying offices in Hong Kong and Shanghai.
The scope of the activity covers partly but not only:
? Social Compliance audits according to HEMA Standard.
? Coordinating the SC activities with merchandising team.
? Reporting SC audit outcome and define Corrective Action Plan (CAP).
? Monitor CAP improvements and provide support to Supplier/Producers when required.
? Analyzing and judging CAP improvement evidences received by providing adequate conclusions.

Main job activities:
? Perform Social Compliance Audits.
? Write CAP reports.
? Monitor CAP progress within given due dates.
? Establish weekly report to management team.

? Provide training to internal and external parties when needed.

Language requirements:

? Fluent in written and spoken English.

Knowledge & Experience:

At least 5 years experience in CSR and Social Compliance field preferably with an international retail company or a Laboratory/Inspection Company.

A certificate of CSR Lead auditor or a SA 8000 accreditation is required.

Experience in Supply Chain and production processes would be preferred but not compulsory.

Education & Professional Qualification:
Bachelor degree or above.

Salary:

A suitable remuneration and package is available for this job, and will be also depending on the experience level.
