We are seeking a Production Tracker Manager to join our growing Vendor Management Department at our Rep-office in Shanghai, China.
The Production Tracker Team currently has total 13 staff which work in different cities throughout China and play as a bridge between Shanghai office and vendors. Mainly in Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Guangdong, Chongqing and Shandong province. This person will manage all these field staff, work closely with the team Director in Shanghai on their daily management, visiting plan, prioritization, review reports, data analysis, procedure improvement, and so on.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage production trackers’ daily work to ensure all production schedules are met, and finished goods are shipped per schedule.
- Guide production trackers to dig deeper the issue/problem for providing good options.
- Monitor all production trackers to make an efficient visiting plan and reach the visiting purpose.
- Supervise production trackers to work on team projects as planned.
- Travel to vendors as needed to achieve excellent results.
- Directly report to director for main/key/urgent issues
- Additional duties as assigned by team leader
Education and/ or experience:
- 5-8 years working experience and at least 3-5 years of management experience.
- Production and manufacturing experience is required in hard line products. Experience in the tool and hardware industry is preferred.
- Strong communication skill required.
- Strong analytical background and excel skills required.
- An operational and execution based approach to their work required.
- Can travel frequently, but work based is in Shanghai office. Expect 40-60% travel.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, Technical/ Vocational degree required.
- Must be proficient with computers and automated process and systems.
- Fluency in written and oral English.
