Job description :

We are looking for an experienced Translator/Project Manager to join our team and manage the production of a wide range of language services.

What you are expected to perform well:

- Linguistic work: Proofread, edit and translate as well as process of source files

- Help recruit more freelancers if necessary (eg review test translations, negotiate rates with freelancers)

- Source the most appropriately skilled linguists for projects

- Manage the team of freelancers

- Manage freelancer query and act as the bridge between the freelancers and the client

- Scheduling / budgeting for the project for optimized profitability

- Be the contact window for the client whenever they have any questions/queries and negotiate schedules when necessary

This position is only recruit HK or TW.

Required:

- - At least interested in localisation project management and online marketing (PPC & SEO).

- Attention to details

- Interest in team work. This role will work closely with a team of external freelancers around the globe and internal project managers in Shanghai and London.

- Communication skills (team coordination and client management)

- Degree in Linguistics / Translation or Marketing

Desirable:

- Experience/knowledge of Trados or any other Translation Memory tools; ability to use Trados for basic project management / review process

- Experience of localisation project management (preferably in other big translation agencies)

- Ability to deal with complex excel sheets

- Ability to learn PPC/SEO basics for optimized content delivery (such as PPC ad copies, keywords and SEO meta content); knowledge/experience of PPC or SEO

- Ability to prepare power point presentation decks

- Organisation/prioritization skills
