职位描述
The Director of Digital Content (DoDC) will be responsible for digital content development and creating, maintaining, and managing the execution of content authoring guidelines. They will participate in the management of digital authors, freelancers and the content development process for all key titles in major discipline course areas and work to assure authors are maintaining schedules and executing authoring standards. This DoDC will focus specifically on driving digital content for the English or Science discipline.
Essential Accountabilities:
l Oversee content guideline implementation in all assessment content
l Help coordinate major digital initiatives, including digital asset development and evaluation, assessment initiatives, LearnSmart content development, mapping strategies to re-repurpose intellectual property, etc.
l Provide expert guidance to Subject Matter Experts when necessary
l Create, manage, and lead training seminars for internal staff
l Periodically manage staff of external freelancers
l Work with Development Editors to help provide content expertise and perspective on product development and troubleshoot problems
l Collaborate with Brand Managers and Development Editors in the selection and training of Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), accuracy checkers, and any co-authors dedicated to Assessment issues
l Understand roles of other departments and effectively collaborate with cross-functional product teams
l Interact with cross-functional groups to implement processes and procedures to continually improve content development activities
l Help shape the overall digital strategy for the group
Required Experience:
Qualifications
l Master's degree in discipline area or related discipline
l 3 -5 or more years of classroom teaching experience preferably in school education or training center and or combination of related experience and education.
l 1-3 years experience in managing budgets with moderate revenue responsibility.
l Experience in project management and resource allocation.
l Strong written and in-person communication skills
l Must be able to work effectively in a team environment.
