Responsibility:
Conduct equity fundamental research and make sector/stock investment recommendations to PMs/Management to support portfolio management.
Equity research will cover both A-share and H-share market for listed and IPOs stocks.
- Conduct in-depth fundamental research on industry and target companies that includes but not limited to: i) key macro/regulatory/business factors affecting industry/target companies; ii) company’s business model and management evaluation, and key earning power drivers; iii) detailed financial modeling and valuation; iv) major sources of investment risks etc., with the objective of producing quality research output substantiated by sound analysis and investment logic.
- Articulate and communicate clear and comprehensive investment recommendation with conviction to support portfolio management.
- Develop and maintain an effective stock pools of coverage sectors to support portfolio management.
- Monitor and analyze key developments of covered sectors/target companies; and proactively communicate research findings/recommendations with PMs and Management to support
- Develop and maintain close contacts with various parties, e.g. sell-side analysts, industry experts etc., to support portfolio management.
- Participate in and contribute to both local and regional investment discussion meetings.
- Participate in Management assigned special projects.
Requirements:
- Master degree from reputable universities.
- Minimum 5 years of working experience with reputable companies in financial/industrial/commercial sectors; minimum 2 years experience in managerial positions preferred.
- Investment research related experience is preferred, but not a must.
- CFA charter holder/candidate preferred.
- High Caliber with strong interests in pursuing professional investment management career under a challenging, fast-moving, high pressure working environment.
- Strong analytical and networking skills, self-motivated, responsible, detailed-oriented, a strong team player and able to work under pressure.
- Effective communication and presentation skills.
- Good command of English, both written and verbal.
