Job Summary

The Software Developer contributes, to create a customer’s solution, in all phases of the software development lifecycle, towards properly engineered information systems, containing software as the major component, to meet agreed business requirements.

The Software Engineer is responsible for ensuring that the delivered software components provide the necessary functionality and perform in accordance to the overall requirements and to the customer’s expectation.

Responsibilities & Tasks

· OSS, BSS related software design, development, testing and integration.

· Software design including feasibility study, system/software architecture, software module, internal/external interface, data flow and related paper work

· Design team leader

· Software testing to ensure software quality

· Establishment of software design environment

· Support quality control for software outsourcing

· Solution Handover

· Solution Support

Minimum Qualifications & Experience Requirements:

· University degree in computer science, communication engineering or related area

· Excellent programming skill with Java language, at least 5 years.

· Good knowledge of Linux/Unix and relational database systems

· Good knowledge in software design process and tools

· Excellent knowledge of Internet technologies , especially TCP/IP, HTTP

· Knowledge of mobile network, SS7, billing & charging, IMS, BSS, OSS , multimedia applications and value-added-services are preferred

· A good team player who takes initiative and willing to learn new things

· Proved 3PP leading ability

· Actively thinking & learning in daily work, curious for new technology

· Good communication & presentation skill

· Fluent Chinese and English are mandatory. Especially, fluent in written English and good in oral English communications.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience Requirements:

· Strong personal interaction and people management skills.
