RBS Safety Approval Engineer

Description:

We are an R&D department part of Ericsson PDU RBS within Business Unit Networks, with global responsibility in Ericsson’s Radio Base Station (RBS) verification and release. Working as safety approval engineer in our team, you will be responsible for RBS safety approval activities performed correctly and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

· Evaluate product to meet national and international safety requirements for ITE safety, outdoor applications through design reviews, product evaluation and test. Review related standards as they overlap or impact product compliance

· Maintain CTDP, TMP safety testing lab status with NCB’s through compliance with ISO/IEC 17025, process control and improvements, and successful external audits

· To define safety scope, make test plan, drive safety approval activities with NCB&NRTL, participate in safety testing, review and release safety test reports

· Safety expert in PAEM, to participate in required operational development of the safety application process

· Review manufacturing factory audit findings and provided schedules and plans for closures

· Responsible for Trouble Report (TR) and Change Request (CR) handling within the objects

· Comply with and follow the directive, instructions and procedures in force in the company

Qualifications & Requirements:

· Master degree or above of first level University major in telecommunication, electronic, computer, environment, material and so on

· Fluent in English speaking

· High Energy levels, positive as a person with a can do mentality with high drive ability to get things done

· Energize others by spreading a positive energy

· Edge you can take tough yes/no decision and implement them

· Passion for technology and test work and also care colleagues

· High Execution/Delivery ability, deliver on time and commitments and constantly work on efficiency improvements

· Integrity and Presentation, state things as how it is Clearly and with structure

· Perseverance, dig into the detail of every problem and never give up

· Good cooperation with others

· Work alone some times

Prefer:

· Familiar with product safety standards including IEC/EN/UL 60950-1, IEC/EN/UL60950-22, IEC/EN/UL62368, IEC/EN 60529, IEC/EN 60825 series, UL 50, NFPA70 and etc.

· Familiar with 3rd testing lab quality management system IEC/ISO17025,

· Comprehensive knowledge on regulatory standards and regulatory approval procedure
