Position Summary

As a Researcher you will build and transfer technology competence to ensure technology leadership and profitable business for Ericsson by:

· Contributing to Ericsson technology strategy

· Developing novel concepts, solutions and algorithms and protect them with IPR

· Driving standardization and industry alignments

· Introducing the solutions into product development

· Presenting prototypes, concept demonstrations and publications

Responsibilities & Tasks:

· Perform, document and communicate research studies, measurements or computer simulations

· Create new technical solutions and protect them with IPRs

· Represent Ericsson in external forums such as standardization, university collaborations, and customer meetings

· Supervise and coach other researcher

· Develop evaluation tools, demonstrators or testbeds

Minimum Qualififcation & Experience Requirements

· The theoretical qualification should be M Sc or equivalent. Practical experience is not required

· Strong analytical skills and ability to acquire new knowledge and apply it in the job

· Good communication skills in written and spoken English

· Creativity and ability to work independently
Preferred Qualification & Experience Requirements

· MSc degree or equivalent or PhD or Licentiate degree

· Very strong analytical skills and ability to acquire new knowledge apply it and spread it to others

· Very good communication skills in written and spoken English and good presentation skills

· Ability to formulate problems and solve them independently. Creativity and ability to develop and drive new ways of working, to produce research results in a more efficient way

· Skills in supervising master thesis students and Researchers

· Ability to create Ericsson Internal and external contact network
