Job Responsibilities:

? Lead and guide EHS function in preparing Project's Day 1 readiness which will be led by Operations Manager. Scopes of EHS readiness include but not limited to :
- Support construction safety during construction phase & interface with Construction team on matters related to EHS/Security.
- Site EHS Procedures & Employee Health/safety programs.
- Boundary Noise measurements.
-Setting up of Site Medical room, if required.
- Emergency response procedures and emergency team /equipment readiness including practical drills.
- Regulatory permits & other EHS /security requirements etc
? Provide leadership in overal management and support of all safety, health, environment & security aspects of the manufacturing site and plant processes including setting up of EHS committees or employees engagement activities as required by the regulations.
? Develop and maintain policies and procedures necessary to comply with corporate guidelines as well as governmental safety, health, environmental and security legislations and regulations.
? Liaise between the company and government agencies / authorities and communities on EHS & security related matters as may be required, in accordance with INVISTA Government Interaction compliance standard.
? Provide advices and support to other functions on all EHS and security related matters.
? Provide leadership in developing leading & lagging indicators to monitor & continuously improve the site's EHS performance.
? Provide leadership in developing and sustaining appropriate EHS & security programs and Training/education for the organization.
? Attract, retain & develop diverse groups of talents consistant with our values / beliefs and MBM principles and continue to upgrade the talent pool, thereby building an organizational culture consistent with MBM principles.

Qualifications (knowledge / skills / experience)

? Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
? Ability to interact with all levels and lead multi-disciplinary teams with strong leadership skills, as well as hand-on and team player.
? An engineering/science degree holder with at least 12 years EHS experience in oil or chemical manufacturing environment, of which at least 5 years supervisory experience.
? Possesses strong knowledge of local EHS/Security related regulatory requirements.
? An effective coach & mentor.
