JOB OBJECTIVES:

Support the sales of textile for the Industrial & Institutional Industry clients and offer the right technical service.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

1) Provide technical service to textile customers and sales colleagues from China, also in Asia Pacific.

2) R&D exchange with Asia Pacific textile team, Asia Pacific technical team and global R&D team.

3) Work closely with China sales team, industry marketing textile, regional sales to reach the sales targets. Identify and report industry trends and potential customers.

4) Lead the textile team in Asia Pacific; information exchange about running projects; exchange technical expertise, market trends; identify and run/lead product development projects; organize the reporting of all textile activities: monthly reports; organize the technical part of advertisement for textile industry; responsible for technical presentations at conferences.

5) Follow the safety guidelines from BASF

6) Work with local associations for textile

REQUIREMENTS:

(1) Education: Bachelor is a must, and PHD is preferred.

(2) Experience: 5 to 8 years of related experience in related industry.

(3) Background in textile industry is a must. Have knowledge about market situation especially in China and know ledge about chemistry used in textile industry.

(4) Have experience in running lab equipment/testing methods for textile industry.

(5) Have experience with product development for textile industry.

(6) Familiar with project management and working with customers.

(7) Good English skill, both in written and spoken.
