The Job:
To ensure that the best fitted accounting policies and internal control procedures are in place as well as its compliance with Company’s policy and legal requirements.
To monitor the branch financial performance and review the monthly and quarterly financial reports.
To direct and implement financial analysis and planning, including project analysis, funding management, operation cost & expense analysis, application and deployment of the Company resources.
To manage the overall credit risk and to review and ensure proper procedures of accounts receivable and payable and its proper status.
To implement the budgetary control system as directed by Corporate & Regional Office – Asia and review variance analysis for reporting to senior management.
To perform litigation duties, including handling special claims of huge amounts; contracts; tax obligation of the Company and employees; other contingent or actual legal liabilities and insurance.
To ensure proper use of financial reporting system for producing periodic financial reports to the corporate and the Regional Office – Asia.
To prepare/review branch payroll and individual income tax withholding.
To communicate with inter-companies, overseas agents, bankers & auditors to ensure completion of quarterly reviews and statutory audits in strict compliance with the company’s policies and procedures.

The Qualifications:
Qualified accountant with knowledge of China company income tax and business tax.
At least 8 years’ experience in accounting and finance, of which at least 5 years of post-qualified experience in accounting or auditing and 3 years in accounting managerial capacity.
Strong communication and supervisory skills.
Fluent in both English and Chinese.
