The MCAD Segment SME is first and foremost an "evangelist" role. The SME is co-located in the important geographies to ensure all functions in the region are aligned with the Segment strategies and have training, tools and assets to drive Segment revenue. Overall goal: "Align and Accelerate"
The SME should feed field market intelligence back into the Segment so that strategy and execution can be refined
Specific responsibilities will include:
a) Regular close communication with key stakeholders in the geography, Sales management (RD/VP level most efficient),Regional marketing teams, I*Centers& VARS
b) Tuning and tailoring the Segment's regional GTM strategy and providing feedback to help prioritize MCAD opportunities and TLO's
c) Maintaining a close pulse of the regional market dynamics in the CAD space
d) Ownership of quarterly business reviews and maintaining a continuing view on the regional SWOT
e) Delivery of specific MCAD opportunity assets as identified
f) Participation in regional marketing events
g) Supporting strategic sales opportunities as a Segment representative
h) In the channel interacting with key resellers in the directly to ensure alignment
i) Engineering background
j) Business development / Sales ability
k) Ability to communicate product strategies and value to internal and external stakeholders and build excitement and passion
l) Well developed skills in influencing without direct organizational connections
m) The ability to analyze the business and understand what can be done to improve it in the context of the corporate strategy and local execution/business climate.
n) Great communication skills in local language and OK communication skills in English
