The successful candidate will fulfill the following essential requirements:
-Demonstrate a solid background in the programming of automated machinery and associated mechanisms for manufacturing.
-Possess a high level of skills in PLC programming. SIEMENS S7 and ROCKWELL RSLogix 5000 are preferable.
-Experience in the configuration and programming of servo motors from Allen Bradley, SIEMENS or BOSCH INDRAMAT as well as ROBOTIC ARMS.
-Show experience as a “hands on” engineer able to diagnose and solve mechanical or electrical problems on working machinery
-Capacity to work in a multi-disciplinary environment to develop machine concepts, derive electrical schematics and preliminary control architectures.
-Ability to develop lasting relationships with electrical cabinet suppliers and co-ordinate the electrical installation and wiring of machinery in our facilities.
-Capacity to lead across functional team as part of a global enterprise and execute company processes flawlessly.
-An excellent level of spoken English must be demonstrated at the interview.
-Capacity to prepare, manage and lead risk management plans and open issue lists.
Desirable attributes that may decide the award of the position:
-A background experience as a technician in a manufacturing plant or maintenance department.
-Capable of PC platform programming, specially using Labview, LabWindows CVI (from National Instruments), Visual C, Visual Basic and management of SQL Databases
-Willing to make a sacrifice in order to learn the MAPRO way to solve urgent problems in production plant environment during the first year.
-Show technical leadership and coaching skills, as the successful candidate will be the future head of an automation engineering department.
