Position/Job Description:
Supervisor for Husqvarna's R/D laboratory in Shanghai, this position reports to local R&D manger.
The objective is to manage both the daily operational tasks as well as future development of our laboratory.

The department have at moment 19 employees and contains
? Petrol product lab
? Emission test lab
? Electric product lab
? Compliance team

The work shall be conducted according to Husqvarna's People Management process and according to our company's Development Processes.

The main responsibilities of the role include:
? Team management
? Cooperation with and reporting to the local R&D manager
? Cooperation with Central (Global) R&D in Sweden
. equipment
. laboratory processes and procedures, incl training.
. compliance support

Qualifications:
. Documented experience from people management at group level.
. Technical education and background is a must and experience from both petrol and electric forest and garden products is essential
. Good understanding of laboratory related work processes as well as being structural, motivated and customer focused.
. Communication skills in English are essential to be able to work within a global R&D organization

Also, the factory has developed a direct business-to-business relationship with OEM customers located primarily in USA and Europe.
