Job Responsibility：
1. Development, regular review and realization of sourcing strategy for assigned categories
2. Bundling and planning of the demands for assigned categories (across LEs and sub-regions)
3. Current overview of demand requests, open orders, contract situation and supplier portfolio at any time
4. Responsible realization of savings in demand driven transactions, single measures and projects through
a. Reduction of purchase prices
b. Optimization of terms and conditions
c. Consequent negotiations
d. Utilization of market arbitrage cross (sub-)regions
e. Utilization of bundling effects
f. Active supplier lifecycle management and development
g. Active contract lifecycle management
5. Define and actively manage measures to increase team efficiency (e.g. for qualification of demands, supplier identification, claim handling, etc.)
6. Increase effectiveness (negotiation and provision of catalogs, supplier and contract management, etc.)
7. Identification and realization of standardization potential/potential for supplier reduction
8. Structured analysis of procurement volumes and transactions in categories, interpretation of results and initiation of adequate measures
9. Negotiation and closure of master agreements (clear conditions, specifications, and prices)
10. Regular analysis of category portfolio and adjacent purchasing portfolio and discussion of categories' scope and tailoring with other category managers and V1-CP Team

COMPETENCES
1. Regional authority for management of assigned category
2. Lead-buyer (and as such "Single Point of Contact) for strategic suppliers in assigned categories
3. Regional monitoring and controlling of purchasing activities for assigned categories
4. Service provider and consultant for internal customers
5. Specialist for international supply market in categories

Job Requirement：
1. Business administration and/or technical education, post graduated procurement training
2. Strategic, tactical and operative procurement experience, preferable in an international shared service organization
3. Excellent skills and long experience in category management
4. Proven experience in leadership
5. Proven deep supply market knowledge for one or more categories
6. Excellent negotiation experience (outstanding negotiation skills) in an international environment
7. Experience in supplier auditing and evaluation process
8. Experience in project management for sourcing and offer projects (RfX)
9. Excellent commercial and technical understanding
10. Managerial and entrepreneurial initiativeness
11. High intercultural expertise
12. Team orientated and result focused working style
13. Very high level of numeracy, experience in procurement controlling and basics in accounting and controlling
14. Outstanding communication skills in English and Mandarin
15. Familiar with MS Office, SAP
16. International business travels according to the companies needs
