Job Responsibility
Directly reporting to the Vice President Fragrance and Beauty while directly managing a team of 6 Brand Managers assigned per strategic vendors, you are ultimately responsible for the P&L and for meeting the sales objectives of the entire perfume& cosmetics Category by:
·Managing and expanding strategically the portfolios of brands (currently consisting of 50 brands) to meet expectations from markets and brand principals as well as exploring new business opportunities
·Ensuring effective and timely implementation of sales and marketing plans across the distribution networks while preserving the brand equity for each brands
Manage the Brands' Portfolio:
·To strengthen communication with key decision makers of all brand principals (around 10):
·To manage their expectation in terms of sales budgets and objectives, and alignment with markets' growth
·To negotiate and manage the Advertisement and Promotion budget and Trade Marketing plans for all brands
·To manage product mix per brand and brands mix as well as all products launches (50 launches per year)
·To ensure consistency in terms of distribution strategy over time
·To provide relevant activity reports and business intelligence report to brand principals
Effective implementation of Sales and marketing plan:
·To lead and coach all 6 Brand Managers to ensure that sales & marketing budget are executed as planned and brand equity KPI are met
·To liaise on a functional level with the Heads of Company subsidiaries and Rep offices (for department stores and shopping malls channels) and Heads of sales teams (for key accounts, perfumeries chains, sub distributors and e-commerce channels) to:
- Monitor, improve Marketing Investments, initiatives execution, market share, customer satisfaction and productivity performance
- Collect insights to global category strategy and for insights that contribute to development of first class category mixes
Explore new business opportunities:
·To source new brands with high growth potential for China market
· To explore and develop new sales channels
Job Requirement
· Minimum of 10 years of overall experience including at least 5 years at managerial level in the selective beauty sector (ideally perfume& cosmetics, but Make up, Skin Care will also be considered)
· Have experience in managing budgets and working in roles such as Division Manager, BU Manager, Merchandising Manager / Director, Senior Brand Manager, Brand Director , Sales & Marketing Manager/ . for sizeable brand principals, distributors, retailers, travel retail operators
· Have the experience and ability to communicate with both international vendors and local Asian distribution teams
· Fluent in English and Mandarin (written and spoken)
· Degree holder with related discipline

In these 30 years, it has expanded tremendously across Hong Kong and China with a sales distribution network that covers 33 provinces, over 150 cities and 2,000 distribution networks. Products are successfully sold in well-known department stores, retail store chains, and other retailers.
