Responsibility:
1.Prepare enquiry packages and screen the base of pontential suppliers
2.Conduct commercial discussions and check the technical and commercial plausibility of offers
3.Understand and analyze the cost elements and the cost drivers
4.Prepare the relevant documentation to propose a suppliers for a project
5.Basic contract negotiation.
6.Interact with and support colleagues from commercial purchasing, quality, logistics and technical team
7.Develop purchasing stratigies for assigned commodity to achieve ideal price and meet cost savings target
8.Meet or exceed annual materials cost reduction and competency expectation
9.Special assignments


Experience Needed:
1.University debree bachelor of engineering (mechanical engineering preferred)
2.At least 3 years experience as steel or aluminium buyer preferably in the auto industry
3.Fluent English language both in written and spoken
4.Ba familiar with auto related procedures
5.Knowledge of Q system such as QS 9000 or ISO/TS 16949 is highly valued
6.Good negotiation skills and able to lead team negotiation as well
7.Ability to wok in a matrixed organization.
