Hardware Engineer

• Responsibilities

Develop efficient hardware, using the Verilog languages

·Enhanced or customized hardware feature of video codec IP

·Built-in pre/post-processor highly optimized to video codec IP

Co-work closely with the world’s leading multimedia SOC manufacturers

·Interact with customers to define system requirements and make necessary modifications to create high- quality products

·Analyze, debug and fix complex problems and customer-specific issues

• Requirements

MSEE or MSCS

3-8 years of experience in multimedia(MPEG video) or image processing(ISP, post processor, etc.) SOC design

Strong engineering foundation, analytical and debugging skills

Expertise in Verilog design and verification

Knowledge of industry standard SOC buses and platforms

Ability to read, understand and enhance existing code

Knowledge of design methodologies for low-power chips incorporating multiple clock and power domains.

Good communication skills and strong team-player mindset

Willing to travel 3-5 times a year to Asia (Japan, Korea, Taiwan & China) on a short notice

• Preferred Skills

Experience with Formality or equivalent formal verification tool.

Experience with PrimePower or equivalent power analysis tool is highly desirable.

Experience in SOC design in the areas of SOC architecture, bandwidth calculation, peripheral design and integration

Proficiency in scripting (perl, shell) and basic design verification methodologies

Knowledge of physical design and circuit issues is a plus.

Software Engineer

• Responsibilities
  Analyze, design, develop, debug, and optimize software features, enhancements and algorithms for video codec IP. Interact with customers to define system requirements and make necessary modifications to create high-quality products.

Develop efficient firmware, using the C and C++ programming languages

Co-work closely with the world’s leading multimedia SOC manufacturers, adapting and customizing generic firmware to specific products and real-life applications

Analyze, debug and fix complex problems and customer-specific issues

• Requirements

MSEE or MSCS

3-8 years in embedded software and / or mobile application development & debugging

Strong engineering foundation, analytical and debugging skills

Expertise in C / C++ development

Experience with multimedia applications, such as:

·JPEG, MPEG1/2/4, H.264 and other image/video compression standards

·AVI, MOV, MP4, MKV and other file formats (preferred)

Ability to read, understand and enhance existing code

Good communication skills and strong team-player mindset

Willing to travel 3-5 times a year to Asia (Japan, Korea, Taiwan & China) on a short notice

• Preferred Skills
  Experience with the following is a plus:

Any kind of assembly language

Hands-on experience with RTOS internals

Image processing or multimedia applications development

Prior work experience with consumer electronics products (DVD, smart phones, medical devices)

Deep understanding of system architecture and real-time, embedded software
