职位描述
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
·communicating directly with the operations department to coordinate maintenance and repair work in process areas
·communicating directly with QA to ensure effective participation by the maintenance technicians in the implementation of QA policies and procedures
·implementing programs and procedures required to ensure plant cleanliness
·assisting with planning and implementing plant improvements and expansions
·conducting employee performance reviews based on job descriptions to determine competency, knowledge, and contribution of the maintenance technicians
·maintaining and updating operating and training manuals for the maintenance department
·ensuring that all maintenance technicians are trained on the most updated version of the operating procedures
·monitoring the operation of plant equipment and systems
·reviewing the operation of plant equipment and systems constantly, to minimize unplanned downtime, anticipate and solve problems in a timely manner, and to identify opportunities for improvement
·maintaining and repairing maintenance shop equipment
·establishing and maintaining a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) for tracking work orders, spare parts, and maintenance history of plant equipment
·preparing reports, analyzing data, and making recommendations for improving plant operations and solving maintenance-related problems.
·ensuring that maintenance technicians are adequately trained, equipped, and motivated so that the maintenance program can be accomplished in a safe, timely, and cost-effective manner
·communicating regularly with all maintenance technicians, both individually and as a group, to ensure good two-way communication concerning maintenance issues
·assisting with the hiring of maintenance personnel
·initiating and carrying out projects that improve efficiency and/or reduce operating costs
·tracking, analyzing, and improving key maintenance parameters such as asset utilization, maintenance cost, PM compliance, schedule compliance, etc.
·maintaining safety, health, and environmental policies and procedures
·ensuring that city, county, state, and federal regulations relating to the maintenance department are met at all times
·directing, maintaining, and enforcing the safety program for the maintenance department; reviews safety records to uphold standards of maximum safety for all maintenance technicians
·coordinating activities with Plant Operations Departments
·participating in objective setting, plan development and performance review of plant performance
·initiating, implementing, and enforcing the plant maintenance program based on best practices in the ethanol industry, with an emphasis on planning/scheduling and preventive/predictive maintenance
·monitoring the use and inventories of spare parts, maintenance supplies, and equipment and initiates reordering when necessary
Requirement:
·To perform this job successfully, an individual must have expertise and proficiency with basic office computer software including Word, Excel, and email
·Must have the ability to work effectively with Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and instruct others on its operation
· Knowledge of SPS controls S5 and S7
·Knowledge of blow molder technicalities: Blow pin stands, blow molds, toolings, automatic weight control, automatic wall thickness control, heater systems, and fault analysis
·Knowledge of automatization equipment (conveying, deflashing, etc.)
·Direction of blow mold operations and community relations requires significant manufacturing knowledge as well as interpersonal skills
·Demonstrate departmental sustainability to adherence of set policies and procedures
·Must be proficient in downtime analysis and scrap reduction
·Must have a minimum of 3-5 years proven experience and leading function of related manufacturing/industrial environment in comparable industries
