Job Title: System and Financial Analyst
Job Level: Grade 3
Location: Shanghai
Reports To: MIS Manager/Supervisor
Additional Reports: Associate Finance Director

Overview of Responsibilities:

1. System Analyst
SIMS is a student information management system where students’ profile, teachers’ timetable schedule, students’ exam scores and etc. are recorded. It is group-wide used by all international schools and high school programmes.

o Analyze SIMS data and prepare reports to the school team when required.
o Assist MIS Manager/Supervisor in developing and testing new SIMS functionality
o Assist MIS Manager/Supervisor in delivering necessary SIMS training to end users within the Group.
o Provide SIMS user daily support to the end users within the Group.
o Maintain and update related SIMS project documents and records.

2. Financial Analyst
o Financial modeling and analysis of financial data for business development projects; research independently, well communicate with project team to collect the necessary information for preparing a new financial modeling;
o Collection and provide financial data/information for management decisions and ongoing finance and operational analysis of KPIs. Work performed will include coverage of functional and operating units, focusing on financial, IT and operational processes.
o Maintain the financial analysis models.
o Proactively support CFO, Treasury Head, Controller and Business Development team on various financial analysis and identifying improvement areas and solutions。

3. Other ad-hoc assignments

Skills and Experience Required:

o 2-3 years working experience in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Mathematics, Engineering, or a computer related field
o Bachelor's degree in the fields above-mentioned
o Overseas education background is preferred
o Basic accounting/financial knowledge is preferred
o Familiar with external reporting tools such as Crystal reports
o Excellent in MS Excel
o Good at both written and spoken Chinese & English
o Good at logical thinking, interpersonal communication skills, presentation skill, documentation skills
o Very good team player and self motivated
o Able to work under pressure and in a dynamic environment.
o Able to take the initiative on projects
