Job Summary
The marketing analyst/senior analyst will be responsible for proofreading and editing both the printed and online publications (Outlook and My Outlook China) of Accenture’s latest Thought Leadership, and work with other marketing and research colleagues on developing contents to generate client conversations, He or she is also required provide support to other content-driven marketing activities.
Outlook Journal is Accenture’s major publication that delivers the latest Thought Leadership to its clients 3 times a year; each journal contains around 60,000 words in 10 Research and Insights. My Outlook China is Accenture’s hall-mark e-newsletter delivering latest point-of-views to about 4,500 subscribers on a monthly basis.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Operations
- Proofread and edit translated Outlook journal and other thought leadership contents. Assure the translation of Accenture’s Thought Leadership is of its highest quality, and the phrasing and usage of terms are aligned to global and Greater China Marketing brand approved guidelines.
- Responsible for the editorial and distribution process for monthly execution of My Outlook China newsletter, including title/abstract writing, test proofing, editing, sending and reports generating. Plan and execute promotions of myOutlook in the market to expand its subscription base and optimize the letter to improve open and click rate.
- Work with colleagues from marketing, research, and business team to develop contents based on client interests and company business priorities
- Supporting other marketing activities as required.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements
- Marketing written test is required.
- Excellent oral and written English communications skills and presentation skills.
- Overall business acumen and knowledge of Accenture’s areas will be an advantage.
- Broad understanding and skills in strategic marketing and communications
- Self-motivated. Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Willingness to work quietly and independently on proofreading and other paper Team player: Integrate well with other areas within Marketing & Communications and Accenture.

Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in translation, English, journalism, Chinese language, publishing, communications, marketing or business disciplines is a preference
- Working Experience: 1+ working experiences. Experience in content marketing (writing, editing, proofreading, and promotion) is a must. Integrated marketing experiences (digital, media, event, etc.) or working experiences with media is a big plus
- Other Requirements: Occasional travel as required
