Qualifications & Experiences:

BS/MS in EE/CS or similar field
1+ years of industry experience working in a Customer Support role. Experience in working in Network Operations Centers is a plus.
Strong knowledge in IP service, Access Control, TCP/IP, networking concepts.
Requires TCP/IP protocol knowledge, routing protocol experience and strong transferable skills in other networking disciplines.
Requires knowledge and expertise in the following routing protocols: IPSec, OSPF, BGP, multicast, PPP, PPPoE, L2TP, LDP, RSVP.
Requires knowledge or experience in supporting security devices such as firewall, secure access devices or acceleration devices
Requires knowledge on High Availability protocol such as NSRP, HSRP and VRRP
Requires analytical skills to debug and isolate problems
Self starter, proactive and must be able to handle multiple tasks
Passion for the Internet, the new technologies related to it, and the growth within are required. Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills
JNCIA/JNCIS/JNCIP/JNCIE is a plus
CCNP or CCIE is a plus

This candidate should be an excellent communicator, well organized, able to multi-task and self-motivated. The candidate must easily be able to develop relationships with both customers and co-workers, manage resources effectively, and work well under pressure
 
 
Responsibilities:

Work directly with Juniper Networks customers and partners by supporting Juniper's Service Layer Technology products in the largest and most advanced IP networks in the world.
Troubleshoot complex network issues and replicate customer issues and facilitating communication between customers, Juniper escalation and Juniper engineering staff.
Apart from outstanding troubleshooting skills, job duties should also include writing white papers, or knowledge base articles on known issues and upcoming features, formulating solutions or workarounds to issues that do not have an immediate resolution.


Language:

Fluent Japanese with reading and writing English ability.
