Job Description
This position is primarily responsible for all aspects of planning, coordination, implementation and support of IT infrastructure services and covering projects in Telecom. Additional scope of work pertains to providing support for ECS, iDM and Security services. Overall responsibilities includes:
? Working closely with the Regional Service Delivery manager to deliver required scope of work in alignment with core priorities to meet timelines and other established service parameters.
? Partnering with local, regional and global stakeholders in implementation of infrastructure Telecom projects and services.
? Lead, manage and deliver projects to implement and optimize the infrastructure environment that is in compliance with company standards and quality policies.
? Support projects by providing technical guidance to customers, developers, and operations personnel concerning the use of platform technologies.
? Build effective working relationships with customers, IT groups, external service providers and vendors.
Job Requirements
? Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience preferred.
? 5-7 years of comprehensive IT experience across all areas of infrastructure
? Has established knowledge and skills in Telecommunication (Cisco certification an advantage)
? Familiarity with ITIL framework and methodology
? Compliance to security policies and other company related policies & procedures are an integral part of employment
? Ensuring data protection is maintained and information is made available on a need to know basis
? Project management skills in planning, coordination and reporting
? Service Delivery skills in ensuring end-to-end service experience
? Team player who can effectively work with virtual team and business staff on the ground, various IT groups
? Must have strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Mandarin
? Able to travel on business trips to China as required
