Jobdescription:


Position reports to the Plant Launch Manager on a daily operational basis, supporting Volvo Cars launch program activities.

Provide input and manages the:

· Early facility and tooling requirements

· Launch Build activity and Resource plan

· Launch budget, training & timing development.

· Manufacturing Readiness Reviews.

Represent the launch team in various meetings and cross functional teams (R&D, Manufacturing Engineering , New Model Launch, MP&L, Production , Quality)
Deploy/review VPDS/GPDS/LQOS overall program requirements/deliverables in scope of specific program content & needs.

Competence Requirements

University degree or equivalent experience

Fluent in written and spoken English

Project management

Minimum 3 years experience in a production environment.

Experience & knowledge from automotive industry or equivalent in the area's:

· Project management and launch

· Manufacturing processes (Final assembly / Paint / Stamping / Welding )

· Quality systems, quality process (FMEA, Control Plans, Critical & Significant Characteristics, etc.)

· Good knowledge of MS windows and MS office applications (MS Project, Excel)
