1. Role and Responsibilities
The primary functions of the Oracle Retail Level 2/3 Support Developers are to:
-Assist end-users in the areas of reporting, system capabilities and preferred practices, answering questions, preliminary diagnosis of problems, and checking for satisfaction
-Track, monitor and respond to requests or issues that do not require modification, configuration, or customization of the Oracle Retail applications
-Identify, build, test and implement required system or configuration changes to address system defects and maintain system documentation (technical specifications and testing documentation).
-Identify, test (unit/integration and regression tests), and implement
vendor supplied patches and fixes for vendor supplied packaged software.
-Provide assistance in understanding the problems related to Oracle Retail applications requiring analysis of the technical components of the system, including the application, database, system software and hardware.
-Be a support for the development, pre-production and production environments.
-These services include monitoring applications, applying patches, and administering the system logs.
2. Skills/Qualifications for all Oracle Retail developers
Basic Qualifications
-Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
-Fluent in Chinese (oral and written) and able to communicate in English (oral and written)
-Good in problem diagnosis and solving skills.
-Experience in Oracle Retail application modules. Examples for Oracle Retail applications include but are not limited to RMS, RPM, ReIM, RDW, ReSA, SIM and RIB
Preferred Skills
-Experience with a large professional service organization preferred
-Process design, configuration,functional design, technical design and testing experience
-Experience of overnight batch support.

-Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
-Experience in performance monitoring, tracking and reporting
-Experience in dealing with end-users
