The Job:

As one of our Web Developers, you will be responsible for:

- Being part of a small, collaborative tech team
-Contributing to all aspects of the development and improvement of our existing web application, including frontend, backend and deployment.
-Building a new, innovative and disruptive web application targeted at the construction industry.

The Responsibilities:

- Contribute to the design and development of new Web applications and features
- Maintain and improve existing Web application
- Work with your agile team to deliver solutions on time and at high quality that conform to user story acceptance criteria
- Test, debug, and maintain the application software throughout the product lifecycle
- Keep your ear to the ground, helping us define and analyze industry best practices and important developments in the mobile space
- Research and share knowledge about ways to continuously improve our workflow as a team.

The Qualifications:

- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject.
- 3-5+ years of professional experience
- At least 3+ years experience in web application development using Html, CSS, JavaScript and jQuery.
- Nice to have: Ruby on Rails/Python
- Experienced in using model - view - controller architecture pattern to organize application programming.
- Strong programming skills, with the ability to follow department standards and meeting high levels of quality, clarity and efficiency; ability to organize and plan work for self
- Experience working with both sides of a RESTful web service.
- Experience with RDBs and SQL
- Good oral and written communication skills in English.
- Familiar with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Experience in Linux/ Ubuntu system is a plus.
- Experienced in software development in Cloud platforms such as AWS is a plus.
