OBJECTIVE OF THE POSITION:

Roles
1) Support and contribute to R&D project or topic related activities.
2) Report collected and analyzed results within agreed time to the lab supervisor or lab manager

Responsibilities
1) Responsible for the activities in the lab under regular to minimal supervision
2) Deliver requested results as lab samples or results from application lab, organize and schedule activities to achieve objectives accordingly
3) Keep material cost on low level.


MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

1) Carry out lab work requests for R&D projects or topics and compile test results
2) Carry out lab work for quick market support topics and problem-solving.
3) Test and benchmark customer samples, supplier or competitor products.
4) Maintain work place in good condition and meet BASF Safety, Health and Environment requirements
5) Ensure consistent and good quality of work and documentation.
6) Comply with official quality certifications e.g. ISO standards, 5S requirement etc.
7) Maintain assigned lab equipments and calibrate per fixed schedule.

RELATED QUALIFICATIONS:

1) Education: College degree in chemistry, polymer or construction materials.
2) Working Experience: At least 1 years experience in materials lab, with experience in construction materials is a plus.
3) Technical & Professional Knowledge:
- Operate and maintain equipment;
- Understand basic English;
- Operate Microsoft Office
