This position is for R&D and need related R&D working experience

Responsible for developing new production processes and improving existing manufacturing processes used in the fabrication of wafer level cameras. Responsible for new technologies/new processes/new equipment/new material evaluation to meet business activities.

Primary (70%):
'- Learn existing manufacturing processing, become process and tool expert for specific processing steps.
- Responsible for innovation, new technologies development and optimize the existing process to improve production yield with high quality.
- Establish project plans and milestone charts for the content of a new project at the inception of new projects, then follow/track and weekly/monthly report on progress.
- Implement statistical methods for process control and improvement.
- Propose, implement, and document improvements to existing processes.
- Identify critical parameters, and verify that important parameters in control for process validation.
- Identify new processing equipment that can be used to improved existing capabilities by work with equipment vendors to evaluate new equipment capabilities.
- Co-work with design team to identify customer requirements, establish design expectations, and meet agreed upon design, performance, and goals for all NPI projects.

Secondary (30%):
Write work instructions for new processes/technologies. Provide necessary training to operators on processes and equipment operation. Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisor

'- B.S. or advanced degree in an engineering or science related field, 3 or more years experience in process control of semiconductor/optics industry.
- Experience using semiconductor and/or MEMS equipment including photolithography tools (mask aligner, spin/spray coater) and other tools such as wafer bonding, epoxy dispense, high accuracy positioning systems, etc.
- Knowledge of polymers / epoxies (UV and thermal) / epoxy dispense.
- Experience using microscopes, surface profiler and other metrology tools /softwares.
- Knowledge of statistical process control (SPC) and/or Design of Experiments (DOE) principles for process control.
- Familiar with JMP/Minitab, etc tool for data analysis.
- Knowledge of camera systems and lens wafer fabrication is also desirable.
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skill.
