Job Responsibilities:
?Prospect and grow our business aggressively, profitably and sustainably in new and current accounts
?Build capable, skilled, motivated, and highly effective sales teams that embraces AWT strategic objectives and supports growth expectations
?Lead and be accountable for sales teams’ performance against business plan.
?Work with direct reports / sales leaders to build short and long-term execution plans for sales territories - deliver business plan results aligned with AWT strategy
?Develop strong customer relationships to corporate level at all existing and target accounts
?Identify barriers to success, marshal and coordinate AWT resources to support and accelerate growth
?Foster and be accountable for team growth and career development, including succession planning
?Maintain the highest safety standards – be accountable for team safety performance
People Management
Building Team Culture (Promote sales strategy, personally motivate, foster a safety-oriented environment, deal effectively and professionally with personnel issues)
Training, Development, and Change Management (mentoring, skills development, interactive career planning, conflict resolution)
Business Management
Existing Customer Interface (Account Retention and Grow Share of Wallet)
New Prospect Interface (Helping Teams to Sell and Close New Business)
Account planning, monthly sales reporting, trip reports, AR collection,
Job Requirements:
Education background: 4-yr technical degree, pulp & paper preferred
Minimum 5 yrs in technical sales, pulp & paper preferred
Some English speaking / listening ability required
Demonstrated success in technical selling, especially cold-calling and developing high-level (plant manager) customer relationships
Quick technical learner
Strong work ethic
Excellent communication skills
