JOB SUMMARY:
Developing, conducting quality systems and procedures to assure product quality to meet the customer's
satisfaction. Quality control covers material, in-process, product.


RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:
(include some or all of the following. Other duties may be assigned.)
1 Develops, implements, and maintains quality inspection programs for incoming, process, and final approval material and product inspections.
2 Develops and conducts inspector training programs in such areas of measurement methodology, statistical sampling, and test fixture operations.
3 Maintains data tracking programs and data integrity. Develops and implements record keeping forms and procedures to provide management information and feedback on the state of process or product quality.
4 Analyzes compiled data from test and inspection reports to identify problems. Summarizes data into major points and submits to management for review and action.
5 Prepares and secures approval of standard operating procedures in such areas as process control, quality standards and testing to assure consistent product quality.
6 Coordinates Manufacturing / Quality Assurance reporting and regarding product quality.
7 Serves as the Quality Assurance representative to the Material Review Board to identify and resolve recurring product problems.
8 Assist in the development of test controls, process controls, and accepts standards for new and existing products, and the implementation of SPC.
9 Develops Quality Audit plans under the direction of senior level engineers.
10 Assists production personnel with quality issues. May provide technical guidance and direction to Quality Engineering Technicians and/or Quality Assurance auditors.
11 Interacts with Manufacturing and Engineering in the identification and resolution of product quality problems.
12 Interacts with Procurement Engineering, Purchasing, and vendor to resolve OEM quality problems.


QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
1 BS Degree in Engineering or related Technical Field.
2 Three to five years of experience as a Quality or Supply Quality Engineer.
3 Knowledge of ISO/TS16949 is preferred
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
1 Fluent in speaking, writing and reading in Mandarin and English.


OTHER SKILLS & ABILITIES:
1 Ability to write reports, procedures.
2 Ability to operate a computer, using word processing, spreadsheet and database software.
3 Knowledge of statistical analysis and SPC methodology.
