Main Function and Responsibility:

· contact person between merchandisers, agencies, suppliers

· gathering of supplier information

- supplier profiles (certificates, turnover rates, production facilities, customers etc.)

- check of certificates (validity)

- audit reports and corrective action plans of third parties, etc.

· supply chain mapping – support of buyers/merchandisers to identify production facilities of traders/ importers as well as monitoring of “black listed” suppliers

· check of Self-Assessments

· on-site compliance checks and verification of supplier self-assessments

· conducting of audits and social visits of suppliers

· preparation and follow-up of supplier meetings after “failed” social visits

· monitoring of and assistance in improvement activities

- on-site compliance checks

- assist suppliers

- document check

- interviews at suppliers’ sites, etc.

· all the other tasks from the leader

Requirement:

· A university degree preferably in social science or environmental. Candidate with experience in this field but possess different discipline degree will also be considered;

· Fluent, written and oral, in both Mandarin and English;

· Good communication skills and strong intercultural competence;

· Long-term work experience in related fields including factory audit, lean production, manufacturing, environmental protection, etc.;

· well versed in Chinese labor and related laws and regulations;

· Frequent travelling required.
