General Purpose:
You will be working in the OPSW Platform SW team, working with brand new technologies; developing HW related SW for latest generation, and future GSM/WCDMA/LTE BTS products, using Scrum practices in an agile development environment.

Main Responsibility Area:
As a CI & Lab Engineer you are responsible for providing stable CI service & local test environment in Platform Service area.
Platform Service R&D is mainly located in China, Finland, and Germany, so the CI engineer will have daily interaction with colleagues from other colleagues in China, Finland and Germany.
Job Description:
The main job is CI tool and framework maintenance and development. You will work across all the phase of a new solution development and work with a lot of new technologies. Overall responsibility can be listed as:
* CI daily operations within assigned projects, and responsible for the smooth and success delivery of daily CI promotion
* Back up CI teams of other sites in different time zone
* Set up & maintain local test environment together with SW development team
* Get SW development team familiar with CI system
* Improve the CI process by developing software and integrating with CI systems
* Support our internal customers and give trainings/presentations about new solutions
* Might also need help with test automation development
Technical Requirements:
* Solid knowledge about Linux OS, environment and system tools knowledge
* Solid knowledge about scripting languages (Python, bash, Perl, Shell, etc.)
* Solid Knowledge in Jenkins CI systems
* Solid knowledge in Java programming languages
* Understanding of software development processes and tools (SW development, Testing, customer support)
* Good Knowledge of software configuration management systems, source code version control systems (SVN/CVS)
* Experience in writing makefiles using make/gmake is desired.
* MSc or BSc in Computer Science, Telecommunications or equivalent
* Fluent written and spoken English
* Familiar with agile process is a plus
* HW knowledge is a plus
