Our client is a leading specialty chemicals and materials company. To support their growth plans in PRC, they are seeking dynamic and experienced individuals to join their Chinese company –
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement “key account” practices for all major customers, ensuring that Cytec achieves Preferred Supplier status. Monitor competitive activity to ensure that existing business is retained, and that our strategies at targeted accounts continue to be appropriate
- Regularly make multi level and multi functional contact at all customers so as to maximize business opportunities through sound commercial relationships
- Use all readily available sales, marginal income and cost reports to ensure that company’s business objectives are being met with respect to product volumes/mix, pricing, costs and marginal income. Where necessary, implement or recommend any corrective actions
- Survey customer requirements through both direct and indirect means, and use this information to identify and recommend, to both local and overseas personnel, actions to satisfy these needs
- Through attendance at relevant industry meetings, conferences and exhibitions, develop an understanding of trends and critical issues within our targeted business segments
- Identify new markets and develop programs from existing customers and potetial new customers
Requirements:
- Bachelor or Master degree on Polymer Science
- Good at English writing and speaking
- 3-5 years experience in a variety of functions such as Key Account Management, business development, technical service, research, and marketing, more than two years` experience on sales or marketing for Additives or Polymers
- Build up close partnership with Key customers in North and West China
- Sales skills and commercial acumen. Exposure to P&L desirable.
- Self-starter – can work independently and ask for support whenever necessary
- Problem solving - this will be a very challenging new position where the candidate will be required to develop a strategy and establish his soft-skills leadership in a rapidly changing environment
- Strong analytical skills
- Leadership skills within cross functional teams
