职位描述

MISSION
Responsible for planning, developing, buying and selling commodities and semi-specialty chemicals in a timely and cost-effective way while maintaining appropriate quality standards and specifications.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
PURCHASE KEY DUTIES:
? To be responsible for the procurement of commodities through the development and implementation of commodity and semi-specialty chemicals strategic plans including price negotiation and the management of supplier relationship.
? Design with the HQ and implement procurement strategy and policies.
? Forecast procurement needs.
? Weekly activity reporting through SRM tool
? Continually develop expertise to support growth for new projects.
? Track Purchasing activity and measurements.
? Personally witness certain vessel boarding, especially when dealing with strategic orders.
? Take part/intercede when necessary to control certain shipments, thus reducing the chance/risk of errors.
? Ensure supplier compliance with site and company requirements for safety.
? Manage supplier relationships building effective partnerships.
? Assist department in developing and implementing purchasing strategies for products.
? Develop and review purchase requests and ensure authorization as necessary to facilitate the timely purchase of commodities, semi-specialties and/or new chemicals
? Help to lower the cost and secure agreements.
? Work under the scope of our Quality and Process Management System

SALESKEY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES OF COMMERCIAL MANAGER
? Understand and forecast new opportunities for each business unit in China and introduce them to the corresponding Market Responsible.
? Analyze and interpret the market dynamics in the region and the position of theproduct group.
? Perform operations directed from the HQ.
? Develop and set up strategy, action plans, targets and budgets within the framework of the global and regional BU strategy (manufacturing, sales, etc). After approval,executing these plans and taking, if necessary, timely corrective actions.
? Ensure development of customer oriented sales and marketing plans, targets and budgets. Supervising the execution and taking, when necessary, timely correction actions.
? Optimize a competitive product range and related services and support.Sets regional product improvement and proposes development programs
? Set an adequate price and payment term structure
? Targets new potential customers
? Create the optimal conditions for the functions and personnel reporting to him and ensure that they have a clear reporting and communication structure which makes optimal use of available know-how.
? Use expertise, know-how and other resources within Barcelonesa and stimulates their development.
Requirements:
? Strong chemical industry background, Chemical Engineering with MBA or other advanced degree/qualifications
? More than 10 years experience in sales and purchasing, 5 of them in the chemicals field.
? Excellent communications skills especially in writing and delivering reports and presentations, fully bilingual in English and Mandarin
? PRC citizens only. English proficiency, Spanish would be a plus.
? Problem solving, analytical and communicative skills and the ability to think independently
? Ability to work under pressure and willing to travel
