Senior Specialist Controls Assembly

Employment – full time

Tasks

Support assembly manufacturing operations . Control software systems and any other system support that affects the manufacturing operations

Key Responsibility

• Upgrade and protect all systems and tools to ensure that they are in line with BBA and BMW standards and operate effectively and efficiently
  
• Issue, maintain, update and distribute technology data to oversee all electrical drawing and controls
  
• Vendor specific activities to manage systems and maintain high level of standards.
  
• Support introduction of new maintenance technologies and ensure that requirements are met
  
• Ensure accurate scheduling and chances where maintenance is affected. Minimize risk and increase efficiency to support all maintenance changes
  
• Raise level of knowledge and provide expertise (by looking out of market technologies) to deliver world class level of maintenance
  
• Trouble shooting and problem solving to make sure the manufacturing running smoothly, meets the requirements both on quality and quatity

Qualification

• Bachelor / Master degree in electrical engineering
  
• Operational experience in a control-engineering environment applicable to manufacturing systems
  
• Knowledge of system software development together with machine process understanding
  
• Knowledge of manufacturing operations processes
  
• High level of understanding of software and hardware
  
• Experience in an automotive manufacturing environment with high volume production
  
• Knowledge of various lean manufacturing methods
  
• English, German would be an advantage
  
• Background in manufacturing systems, automation and control systems, 1-3years
  
• Experience with hardware and software development, 1-3 years
  
• Several years experience in maintenance of assembly systems, 3-5 years
