Employment – full time

Tasks

Organize and lead the production team to achieve production targets and quality standards. Control maintenance activities to optimize efficiency, Develop the competence of team members and ensure effective communication both within and outside the team.

Key Responsibility

• Lead team to achieve production targets. Holidays and absences. Maintain attendance. Coach, support & develop member's performance and competences.
  
• Communicate problems, upcoming changes and improvements to the team. Conduct daily team meetings
  
• Control production schedules, material & components
  
• Responsible for resource / manpower planning: absentee planning, holiday planning, use of working time account, planning required shutdown / weekend working
  
• Evaluate and assess performance, skills, task completion and target achievement.
  
• Administer SAP-HR in line with operational requirements and processes
  
• Support the development of associates organizing relevant training interventions to meet current and future requirements
  
• Build up and foster constructive relationships with team, to develop a climate of trust and to develop, motivate and encourage an effective working environment

Qualification

• University degree / graduated in Mechanical Engineering/Manufacturing Processes
• Knowledge of Powertrain manufacturing processes (machining and/or assembly).
  
• Knowledge of control systems and software technology.
  
• Knowledge of project and budget management.
  
• Highly developed communication skills in a multi-cultural working environment.
  
• Competency of new strategy planning and implementation of new projects.
  
• Proficient English, German would be an advantage
  
• Background in Powertrain manufacturing processes (machining and/or assembly)
  
• Experience with high volume manufacturing (machining and/or assembly)
  
• Several years experience in technical planning, maintenance and/or project management
