General purpose of position:

· Support all final test aspects of the manufacturing process.

· Perform final test on all standard and special BTU products with some guidance.

· Perform quality inspection to ensure product meeting BTU quality specification.

· Work in assembly when required.

Description of duties and responsibilities:

· Test products using sales specifications, drawings/schematics standard test procedures, test guides, and other related documentation.

· Sets up, calibrates circuitry, and troubleshoots complete systems down to sub assembly level.

· Prepares test reports on furnaces and distributes to others as directed.

· Quality inspection before and after final test to meet technical specification of sales order, and BTU mechanical/electric workmanship guideline.

· Work with engineers and other support functions on test related issues.

· Work as a contributing member in a team manufacturing setting.

· Follow ISO Procedures and BTU Safety Procedures.

· Perform other related duties as directed.

Skills and abilities needed for this position:

· Proficiency with hand tools and related power equipment.

· Read and understand drawings and related MOMs.

· Working knowledge of current/voltage reading equipment, recorders, gas leak detection equipment, and gas analyzer.

· Quality ownership accountability

· Working understanding of computer operating systems and application software.

· Basic understanding of ERP system.
