Main tasks / Responsibilities:

1.Drives LPSplus system deployment in the plant:

a.Assures the Element 0 Set-up (e.g. Steering Committee, Element Owners, Element group…) and continuous

improvement of how it is deployed in the plant.

b.Defines in accordance with WSD Central LPSplus Team guidelines and with Regional LPSplus Manager the yearly main objectives / priorities for LPSplus system deployment.

c.Cascades information/plans to plant, as agreed with WSD Central LPSplus Team and assures successful deployment (by applying standard tools, which will improve the results (LPI)).

d.Communicates permanently with Regional LPSplus Managers on LPSplus system deployment, evolutions, best practices… Implements Benchmarks.

e.Escalates main issues and proposals for LPSplus system improvement to the Regional LPSplus Manager.

f.Works closely with Plant Management to deliver all needed communications, explanations and support to ensure that LPSplus system deployment is aligned with WSD LPSplus requirements and standards.

2.Manages LPSplus Plant Structure and competencies

a.Provides all needed support to train and coach Plant Structure in the deployment of the LPSplus tools and processes.

b.Ensures consistency in the hiring of the LPSplus Structure with required qualifications and competencies.

c.Defines and triggers LPSplus training programs / qualification in the team.

d.Target agreement setting and annual appraisal for plant LPSplus team members.

3.Uses Plant Results as a support to identify further needs of LPSplus tools and processes that have to be strengthened in deployment;

Follows up KPIs evolutions, LPSplus Stars results and LPSplus system deployment, every month.

Implements action plans immediately when necessary (in case of deviation).

4.Organises and realises the internal LPSplus Result Checks

a.Prepares the yearly planning with Regional LPSplus Manager according to the plant needs.
b.Assures training of Element Owners & Management team in LPSplus Results and coordinates with the Regional LPSplus Manager the training for Plant element owners where the element is very technical (e.g. Element 9, Element 8, Element 4)
c.Realises audits in the plants with the plant element owners support.
d.Uses the LPSplus deployment in the plant as a tool for improvement.

Based on the LPSplus audits results, develops and implements an improvement plan, in coordination with the plant element owners.

5.Compliance with all relevant legal and realised internal standards:Awareness of and compliance with safety regulations, quality standards and guidelines.

Qualifications required / Knowledge

1.Highest level of education:Graduate/post graduate (University/ Engineering School)

2.Subject area:Process engineering, Lean production, Quality system

3.Education:University/ Engineering School.

4.Occupational experience:Mini 3 years experience in:Lean production management or / and Production management or / and Quality system management.

5.Languages:Fluent in English ; German is a plus

6.IT:MS Office
