Soft lines section of QA manual, procedures and testing requirements, daily technical support of soft lines product group.

Responsibilities:
The responsibility of the QA Technologist - Softlines is;
? to assure our products legal compliance
? assist the merchandising team with technical product related requests
? technical assistance to internal requirements
? develop and maintain softlines related QA system and procedures (incl. testing requirements)
? Provide guidance for compliance on applicable testing methods, directives and laws.


Activities:
? Regular softlines meetings and communication with the merchandising teams
? Risk assessment of products and projects
? Factory audits (frequent travelling required)
? Evaluation, approve or reject suppliers
? Evaluate and approve certificates and laboratory reports
? Sealed sample approval and sign off
? Approve inspection reports and decide release, stand by or reject
? Together with clients establish product quality requirements when needed
? Perform training for internal and external parties
? Updating ICA staffs and documents on changing legal requirements for softlines product group.
? Follow up on product quality problems and recalls

KPI:
· Development of QA soft line system and procedures
· Number of audited factories
· Internal and external training sessions
· Number of hold inspections
· Number of reject inspections
· Number of recalls and complaints

Education:
· University degree in physics, chemistry, civil engineering or equivalent
· Lead auditor training

Experience:
· The QA Specialist shall have a minimum of five years experience with quality assurance in softlines.
· Solid experience with auditing, inspection and testing of softlines goods
· Experience with softlines retail sourcing
· Involved with technical services support for softlines

Skills:
· QA procedure writing
· Skillful with Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
