Responsibilities:
1. Define the quality of the different products and processes through the implementation of statistical techniques, FMEA and coordination/preparation of "PPQP's";
2. Implement effectively system, procedures and quality technique in:
a) Audits areas (process/final), to get a high reliability in the use of material, equipment application, process design, and operator workmanship for the products;
b) Functional test (life) of the products and process, to identify the potential causes of premature failures;
3. Participate in the continuous improvement of the manufacturing process and quality systems;
4. Develop inspection, measurement and test equipment for new products according to specifications established along with Engineering;
5. Participate in improving plans for equipment technology, test methodology and environmental conditions for team working toward increasing reliability and productivity;
6. Analyze the products returned by the customer and process the guarantee credit, as well as take all the necessary actions to correct failures related to the manufacturing process;
7. Manage and coordinate the corrective/preventive actions in the manufacturing process quality system and customer complaints;
8. Coordinate inspections and audits of UL/CSA and assure that process fulfill the requirements;
9. Elaborate quality reports;
10.Elaborate and update department procedures that follow ISO9000 standard guide lines;
11.Perform other duties as required;

Requirements:
1. Degree/diploma in Mechanical/Metallurgic/Manufacturing Engineering;
2. Knowledge in test techniques, quality system administration, ISO9000, QC tools such as SPC, FMEA, etc., and metrology including GD&T;
3. English necessary for communication;
