职位描述
The sourcing, analysis, development and support of large Asian customers requiring non-standard or customized UPS services.
Customers:
· Liaise with existing customer’s staff at all levels to ensure smooth operations.
· Support SAM in discussions during QPR meetings with customers.
· Assist in maintaining accurate reports of customers’ sales performance.
· Update the funnel regularly to ensure that planned CPR is on target
· Maintain a listing of target customers in each Asian Country using available resources. Keep updated reports on revenue potential of these customers.
· Coordinate sales and account development activities between different countries and Regions.
· Help to maintain an up-to-date listing of future dates of tenders and bids.
· Maintain an up-to-date database of customer activities using available database tools e.g. LINK.
· Build and solidify business relationship with key customer personnel.
Competitors:
· Liaise with Asia Pac Global Account Sales Teams and other Regions Sales Teams obtain competitor information.
· Help the SAM to maintain an up-to-date library of competitor services, activities and prices. Competitor activities include air cargo, warehousing, logistics activities.
· Bids/Presentations:
· Ensure that Bids are being prepared and submitted on time.
· Ensure tender/bid documents are obtained by UPS on time.
· Develop tender/bid materials in an appropriate format.
· Update and maintain all tender/bid presentation and letter materials.
· Maintain an up-to-date library of presentation materials.
· Plan, organize and communicate presentations to customer.
Solutions:
· Participate with other team members, Region and Country staff in developing customer solutions.
· Liaise with Major account Sales staff in other regions to coordinate strategy and tactics for a particular customer.
· Liaise and communicate with the finance, I.E. and other functions in Countries, Districts and Regions to obtain ideas, suggestions and to obtain additional input to projects.
· Implementation & Maintenance:
· Ensure smooth implementation of new account start up and operations.
· Ensure all aspects of an account's operations, accounting, IS and development needs are being met through coordination with Corporate, other regions, Asia Region functions and major account coordinators.
· Maintain data files on each customer or project for future reference.
Judged on:
· Volume and revenue of major accounts in the region secured by the Region Strategic Accounts Group.
· Contribution of ideas to the SAG team in designing and selling solutions to prospective customers.
· Quality and accuracy of competitors and customers database..
· Quality of presentations.
Job Requirements
· Fluency in Mandarin and English will be desirable.
· Good presentation skills and good overall appearance.
· At least 2 years in a Sales position.
· Proven experience in securing medium and large-size accounts.
· Proven experience in working with middle level management people.
· Sales experience in a foreign country would be an advantage.
· The position will require strong selling skills. In addition, a certain percentage of the incumbent's time will be spent on organizational and administrative skill.
