Responsibilities:


？ To project manage and undertake day to day technical duties, providing technical advice to customers and merchandisers to ensure products comply with European law.
？ To visit factories in China on a regular basis to understand their production capabilities, help resolve problems and to build partnerships with the vendor base.
？ Liaise with suppliers and laboratories to ensure all relevant products are tested
appropriately and to keep abreast of latest European legislation.
？ Evaluate samples and recommend improvements to ensure products are safe and ‘Fit for Purpose’.
？ To prepare the product specification & quality test Plan according to customer's
expectation.
？ To coordinate quality issue with manufacturer to resolve any quality issue identified and drive for improvement.
？ To coordinate testing issue with third party laboratory on product testing to ensure legal & safety compliance.
？ Signing off sealed samples and product specifications.
？ Sign off artwork and confirm product claims ensuring compliance to European legal
requirements.
？ Conduct factory audits.
？ Ensure appropriate product and supplier documentation is maintained and regularly
reviewed for validity.
？ Monitor the development of global.national.industrial standards and regulations for product safety


Requirements:


？ University degree or equivalent in scientific or product related subject
？ Quality manager experiences with a sizeable buying office and laboratory working
experience are essential.
？ Detailed knowledge of product labeling & testing requirements for European markets
？ Quality Systems auditing experience.
？ Excellent planning and organizational skills.
？ Excellent spoken and written English & Mandarin is essential.
？ Self-motivated individual with high level of integrity.

The operations are divided in two main divisions – hard line and soft line plus an additional ethical and quality division.Soft line represent woven and knitted garments as well as with home textiles.
