Our Process.

The GoUSA content team will be responsible for translating, creating, editing and sourcing new activities for the China website. Content will be sourced from the official Discover America English site, it will be localized by our team and supported by top tourism bloggers and writers from the USA and in China. Together we will position the website as the top travel destination platform online in China.

Job Description.
It’s your job to effectively manage the GoUSA brand on our Chinese language website, supported through its social media channels. You will be responsible for all content uploaded to the site, whether translated from official websites, created by our team or sourced from travel writers. This is a demanding yet exciting role which constantly challenges you, therefore you are required to take calls and respond to emails at various times. You are responsible for GoUSA's online voice in China.

Responsibilities.

Manage the site and work closely with development, content, and design team in line with brand guidelines and GoUSA goals.
Manage and review all development changes on test site prior to reaching live site.
Oversee ongoing site & content management: lead a team of 2 Content Executives
Manage relationships with and secure promotion from key Chinese media channels (Sina & Tencent)
Liase with GoUSA Social Media team to ensure high communication and engagement between the website and social channels
Communicate updates and status reports to Account Director as to the performance of the website (Google Analytics).
Mitigate any problems by listening to members on GoUSA.
Manage and liaise all contact us inquiries and respond accordingly.
Share weekly performance reports to Account Director.
Participate and share development of website progress, key updates and troubleshooting with team in weekly meetings.
Continually find new and innovative ideas to create exciting features on GoUSA

Skills required
Passion for Travel
Existing knowledge of the United States
Fluent in English and Chinese writing and speaking

At least 2 years website management experience
