PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

1. Accurately prepare, pre-treat, analyze and interpret data

2. Perform all applicable corporate and laboratory quality control procedures, including but not limited to, control charts, sample spikes, internal and external replicate testing, blanks and controls producing totally defensible results.

3. Meet turnaround time commitments

4. Perform method development as needed

5. Understand and follow established quality assurance and chain-of-custody procedures.

6. Prepare all records (data, notebooks, and instrument books) in a timely, thorough, and neat manner.

7. Take action to correct all QA problems and potential delays, communicating the issue as appropriate.

8. Maintain instruments and equipment in proper operating conditions

9. Assure adherence to the safety and health policies and procedures.

10.Perform other duties as requested.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Textile and two (2) years work experience.

2. Experience with textile standard, especially in shoes.

3. Good written and verbal communication skills. Fluent in English.

4. Knowledge and experience with laboratory QA/QC plans, manuals, and procedures.

5. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.

6. Familiarity with instrumentation for textile testing.
